Fee Schedule & Policy
Unless otherwise specified all rates are per person in US Dollars. At any time this fees may be waived or adjusted at the discretion of Macris Travel and/or its agents. These fees are paid directly to Macris Travel, an affiliate of Travel Planners International.
- Domestic airfare only booking: $25 per person(Non-refundable)
- International airfare only booking: $50 per person (Non-refundable)
- Exchanges: From $50 per person in addition to the transaction fees charged by operator
- Shipping: $5 plus actual shipping costs (Payments, Paper tickets & documents)
Additional fees may apply for some complex travel arrangements and for special services such as coupon processing.
Unless otherwise specified, all payments for travel is paid directly to suppliers affiliated with Macris Travel. Macris Travel does not hold funds for travel services. The refund policy of each individual supplier applies and will be clearly described when booking travel. Additional fees may at times be paid to Travel Planners International. Information needed to complete payment will be shared with the third parties. For add-on travel merchandise, payment to Macris Travel will be through Square credit card processing. Macris Travel does not personally process payment for airfare, hotels, vacation packages or other travel services.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Money orders and Personal and cashier’s checks are accepted for deposit and final payment if received greater than 30 days from trip. Deposits, full and final payments receieved within 30 days of departure must be paid using a credit card. Cash is not accepted. Shipping and processing fees will apply. A nonrefundable$50 flat fee to cover processing fees and shipping will be collected with check payment with any additional shipping charges or fees invoiced.
For international packages a non-refundable $100 deposit is due to research and make specific reservations. Should arrangements be secured and confirmed as requested this deposit will be applied to the actual booking.
After Initial Deposit
The cancellation penalty will be determined by the fare used. Complete penalties will be confirmed at booking.
After final payment or less than 40 to 60 days prior to departure all deposits paid may be non-refundable. Any refunds are at the sole discretion and subject to the policies of the suppliers. Many travel tickets are non-refundable from the point of purchase. Clients could potentially lose everything and should purchase applicable Trip Cancellation Insurance. If suppliers have substantially different deposit and cancellation policies, they will be presented at confirmation.
We recommend Travel Insurance to all travelers. Persons are often forced to cancel vacations prior to, or during travel due to unexpected injuries or illness. The Trip Cancellation Insurance covers deposits lost as a result of the covered cancellation policies. Refunds are issued for cancellations due to injury, illness or death in the insured’s family or traveling companion. Plus, this complete coverage program includes baggage loss, trip delay or interuption, emergency medical and more. Travel Guard is our chosen insurance provider. Call for complete details and rates. Other insurance options are available based on your state of residency.
All applicable documents including tickets, detailed itineraries, vouchers and check-in details will be sent approximately two to four weeks prior to departure.
Unless otherwise indicated one change to the original reservation is allowed. Any additional changes will be charged $10 per change plus any supplier fees or penalties. Changes after final documents have been issued will be charged $25 per change plus any supplier fees or penalties.
Macris Travel of Seattle, Washington, and/or its agents act only in the capacity of agent for participants in all matters pertaining to accommodations, activities, and transportation whether by airplane, ship, railroad, bus, automobile or any other means of conveyance and shall not be liable for any injury, accident, damage, loss, delay or irregularity occasioned by neglect or default of any company or person engaged in conveyance of passengers, housing of participants or supplying of services in conjunction with Macris Travel packages. Neither Macris Travel and/or its agents are to be held responsible for the closing of access routes to or from resorts due to weather conditions or for weather which may close down resort operations nor are they to be held liable for any additional expense, consequence or inconvenience resulting from the above conditions. Macris Travel will not be liable for a payment of refund for unused housing, meals, or activities occasioned by a late arrival, sickness or injury. All Macris Travel prices are based on tariffs in effect at the time of publication of sales and web literature, and are subject to reconfirmation when final payments are made.

Pursuant to current state law, a number of details have been presented to you on invoices, travel documents and marketing materials. They include our registration number, complete cancellation, deposit and payment policies, complete package inclusions, suppliers used such as transportation companies, specific hotels and resorts. We have made a conscious effort to be as clear as possible and comply completely with state law. If you are unclear with any portion or detail of your trip, please call us. This statement is required by the state: If transportation or other services are cancelled by the seller of travel (Macris Travel), all sums paid to the seller of travel for services not performed in accordance with the contract between the seller of travel and the purchaser will be refunded within thirty days of receiving the funds from the vendor with whom the services were arranged, or if the funds were not sent to the vendor, the funds shall be returned within fourteen days after cancellation by the seller of travel to the purchaser unless the purchaser requests the seller of travel to apply the money to another travel product and/or date.
General Collection and Use
Personally identifiable information is collected from you when you use the Macris Travel Website. Some information is explicitly provided to us by you, while other information, such as your IP address, is gathered automatically as you use our service. We may use your personal information to provide you with travel-related information or responses to vacation requests, or to personalize mailings (electronic or otherwise) or other communications that you consent to receive.
We may share your information with third parties to facilitate your travel plans or requests for information. Your information may also be available toEnsemble Travel, a not-for-profit, member-owned consortium or Travel Planners International (TPI). Occasionally, Macris Travel will send requested e-mail or direct mailings through Ensemble or TPI. Ensemble and TPI do not own this information and Macris Travel will remove all information if relationships cease.
Macris Travel may provide third-party links, or otherwise cooperate with third parties, to provide you with access to online booking tools. These online booking tools are owned and operated by third party providers. Macris Travel may provide access to these online booking tools as a service to you, and is not responsible for their operation or information practices. These tools often gather personally identifiable information and financial information from you to complete your booking requests, and our service may include some of your personally identifiable information in the link to the booking tool to help streamline the booking process.
Third Party Privacy Policies
Like most websites, we use log files to track system activity. These files include IP addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), and other technical information relating to your use of our Website. We use this information to analyze usage patterns, observe trends, administer the site, track user movements in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
This Website is not directed toward children under 13 years of age nor does Macris Travel knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not submit any personally identifiable information to Macris Travel.
We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account we reply via email or phone, in accordance with the user’s wishes. If you prefer not to receive future mailings, newsletters, e-blasts and notifications of products, services and special savings opportunities from us, you may direct us not to contact you, via mail, email or telemarketing.
At certain times, Macris Travel may offer merchandise for sale to its clients and their friends and families as an added feature to booking travel through Macris Travel. This merchandise has a 30-day satisfaction guarantee policy. Custom merchandise may not be returned or refunded unless defective or damaged. At times, this merchandise may utilize third-party suppliers and vendors, and Macris Travel will share information as needed to complete or deliver the order.
